BSC - Balanced Scorecard

This article studies how to implement, through identifying appropriate actions, the strategical plan of the department of Countable Sciences of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina to becoming a center of educational excellency. The objective was to identify which are the initiatives of actions that would have to be implanted in agreement to the perspective of different stakeholders and formulate measurable pointers of the current discrepancy in relation to the desired one. The employed method was the use of the tool of management called Balanced Scorecard - BSC. The results are of exclusive application to the case developed, not serving for direct application, without a careful personalization, to other organizations.
